dragging brake

My problem is a rear caliper that seems to drag.I noticed brake dust on the wheel and it would get hot,but when i jacked up the car the wheel spins freely.have replaced caliper and still have problem.its on driver side rear 81 280zx na.

disconnect the e brake cable and see if you still have the dragging when driving

your e brake ext return springs or the adj could be the problem

also did you replace the caliper with an identical one as the 79 to 81 are different than the 82-83

I`m embarrassed to say I found my problem.I bled my brakes and you should have seen the junk that came out of my brake line(I think I saw Jimmy Hoffa`s finger).Should have known ,rookie mistake.
