ConfusedJust looking at the list. Didn't see my name. Is that a problem? Should know soon if my application for Nationals is accepted. Sent cheque a while ago. Booked hotel room. Could I ask what you mean by comment re 370Zs? Is 80 the max. they'll deliver to Canada?(And what does 'AE' mean, Jim?)

Hey Brian,
Glad to hear u got registered, the number is low actually , the natonials usually hits 1500 before it's done. And its really a good idea to register early as u get to just walk in , pick up your package while every body else waits in line. If u have never been to the nationials u will have  a good tiem there are soo many different cars and each has it's own story. But enough ranting from me, i am sure u and the rest of the Z heads will have a great time. We are working on an agenda for the club for the weekend , we will post it when completed.

I went on line to www.atlanticnationals.com and printed off the registration form. I'm not sure if you can register on line itself. Maybe you can. I had to send in a couple of pics of the Z too.

My Annual Atlantic Z Car Club Rally Day Z Hat

7th Annual Atlantic Z & Vintage Datsun Car Club Itinerary for Atlantic Nationals.

The actual Atlantic Nationals show begins on Thursday. Refer to their website for details of ALL of their events because we are ONLY listing what the Atlantic Z Car Club is doing for an agenda. You are welcome to do whatever your heart desires during the weekend. There are free shuttles from 10-3 on Saturday to the Shopping Malls from Centennial Park.

Friday, July 9   The Halifax portion of the club will be departing 12 Noon from Lower Sackville. Arrive in Moncton by 3PM. Those coming from other areas for the two nites are encouraged to show up by mid afternoon(Friday) to register and save hassles of lineups Saturday AM. We will go directly to the registration area to pick up our packages. Registration for participants at Lounsbury Truck Center located beside Centennial Park is on from 8A-8P. We will then go back to our Rodd Parker Hotel for 4PM to check in. Immediately after we will head over to the Farmers Market area to park. Depending upon parking space we may also decide to just stay parked at the Rodd. From 8:00 AM - 12:30 AM there is an all day Main Street Cruise-In. Parking is restricted to registered show participants. We are attempting to book supper for 20 at a Downtown restaurant. If for some reason this does not work out, we will be on our own for supper. "Rock 'n Roll 'til Midnight Street Party" on the Sound Stage on Main Street, with Donnie and the Monarchs, Eddie Chase and Gafitti 4, the GTOs, and more! This is a free event open to the general public from about 8P-1A.  Don’t forget you have to get up early tomorrow!!

Saturday, July 10     The AZCC Executive will be going to secure our site in the UPPER part of Centenial Park at 730AM. We are strongly suggesting that if you want to park with the group to be there before 930AM.  In order to participate in AZCC awards session your car must be in attendance from 10A-4P. AZCC registration will happen all day long at the Gazebo in our area. We will be collecting membership dues, selling clothing and other merchandise available and would ask that you bring cash since we will not have an ability to handle paypal or credit cards. We would ask you to cast your ballots by 3PM for the individual classes of Zees. From 3-330P we will tally ballots. At 330P we will all gather to hand out trophies and door prizes. We will all leave the park together shortly after 4PM and head to Champlain Nissan for a special picture session. At 530P we will be doing a Zed Cruise to the ‘big lobster’ in Shediac.  We will choose a supper stopping spot along the way. At 930P we will be heading to the free dance at the Colliseum. A reminder that if you have participated in the two day event; you automatically qualify for the Atlantic Nationals prizes; however you MUST be onsite and MUST have a car registered in YOUR name. There are many other free things to do that are included in your Atlantic Nationals package that you will receive on Friday.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: The Atlantic Nationals promotes SAFE cruising and there is a ZERO TOLERANCE tire squealing/burning policy in effect for the entire weekend, and specifically for the Super Cruise Event. 9:30 PM - 1:00 AM.  PLEASE NOTE: There is NO overnight parking allowed at Centennial Park.

Sunday, July 11     The AZCC will host a FREE breakfast for members and their guests starting at 8AM. We would again ask folks to be present before 930AM to allow for parking. PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST BE PRESENT AT THE AWARDS PRESENTATION at 3PM to win. This will be a leisurely day til 4PM when some will start departing for home. We will also be going to the burnouts at Riverglade Speedway as a group.

We will also be selling Atlantic Z Car Club merchandise including tshirts, sweatshirts, jackets, hats, flags, calendars and will be collecting membership dues and handing out membership packages and will have two club members looking after the booth in one hour segments on Saturday. See Schedule below.  Any questions or concerns let us know. Thanks in advance.

great agenda ross.

a small note for those who have not been at the atlantic nationals before.

most people find it helpful to bring a folding chair or 2 with them.

also there is a tim hortons 1000 yards from the park upper entrance we use across from the people park tower on st george street but there is also a tim hortons in the park in the main vendors area on the lower level.

with 2000 cars expected this year, bring your camera and some spare batteries and download all the pics on your camera beforehand.

this is the LARGEST car show in canada.

champlain nissan has comfirmed that its a go for the azcc club at the dealership for sat afternoon.

they will be doing the free hot dog bbq and soda for anyone that shows up from 3pm to 6 pm. we should be there by 4 pm which will work out fine as most cars start to leave the area around 4.30 and the dealership is only 5 minutes away.

the grassy knoll  near the flagpolls along main street will be available as well as the feature car ramp for one of the z cars. ( i suggested terry G own 93 300zx tt since it is there anyway)

their main street sign board will be reflect the event and they are running their normal radio spots which can have the tag added for the event.

jeff hyslop , their sales manger is our contact. 1-506-857-1800

jeff wants to finalize any last minute small details the last week. btw weather souldnt be a problem even if a small shower occurs for the bbq portion as the drive thru service bay admin area is about 50 feet long and adjacent to the dealer main entrace.

assuming good weather, our club 10 x 10 easy up will be used with 4 of the new datsun and nissan flags mounted on each corner and the bbq underneath.

jim
